This Committee covers the current status and developments in ingredient, packaging, and processing technology for the commercial production of the following products:
- Fruit Juices: blends, drinks, carbonated, and non-carbonated.
- Nutraceutical Beverages.
- Isotonics and Sports Beverages.
- Teas, Acidified.
- Waters: still, carbonated, plain, flavored, mineral, etc.
- Chocolate Drinks.
- Low Acid Beverages: Coffee, Tea, Soy, and Dairy based beverages.
Non-Traditional Beverage Processing Categories:
- Tunnel Pasteurized.
- Hot Filled.
- Dual Pasteurized.
- Ultraclean Process (HTST Beverage/Sanitized Package).
- Aseptic Process (UHT Beverage/Sterile Package).
- Retort /Hydrostatic Process.
- Irradiation, Ultra High Pressure, Electricity, Other Novel Processes.
