ISBT's PCO-1881 Finish Subcommittee
Objectives / Goals
Work is underway on the development of a new, light weight thread finish voluntary specification for plastic single and multi-serve soft drink bottles (250 ml - 2 litre). This is an international undertaking under the auspices of the International Society of Beverage Technologists (ISBT). Participation in the development of the new voluntary standard is open to members of the ISBT (membership is on a personal basis, and is very reasonably priced), with current members representing the beverage companies, bottlers, mold makers, and others along the supply chain, currently throughout North America and Europe. This is an international project, and participation is welcome from all affected parties.
